CLARAfications
My work begins with imagination: a spark, a vision, a process, and finally, a manifestation. Through abstract, textured, digital, and three-dimensional forms, I explore the inner landscapes of thought, emotion, clarity, and connection.
As a self-trained interdisciplinary artist, I work intuitively with canvas, metal, wire, paint, glass, fabric, textiles, found objects, and prose. I do not approach art as something to be mastered from the outside; I let art live through me. Each piece is a reflection of curiosity, movement, and appreciation for the beautiful gift of life.
CLARAfications is my way of bringing ideas into visible form. Beyond every canvas lies a deeper meaning, waiting to be seen and felt. My hope is that the work invites others to recognize their own innate ability for unique expression, inner joy, and interconnection.

ClaraKhay Johnson knew from a very young age that she had a creative side. She loved to gift friends and family with her imaginings, doodle in the margins during class, and was consistently recognized by her art teachers for her talents.
She didn’t realize she WAS an ARTIST until 2008!
